The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to function as an Auctioneer. An Auctioneer conducts transparent and fair sales of movable and immovable assets by accepting offers from buyers (the Public) and accepting the highest purchase price to realise the best sales value for the seller. Attributes for the auctioneer, amongst others, should include communication skills, writing skills, research skills, financial skills, and information and communication technology (ICT).
A qualified learner will be able to:
- Secure a mandate to sell an asset.
- Assess and determine the value of the asset for auctioning.
- Conduct marketing to auction an asset.
- Facilitate acceptance of bids and disposal of auction assets.
- Administer and reconcile the sale of assets.
Any NQF Level 3 qualification.
RPL for access to the external integrated summative assessment: Mcanyi Group and approved workplaces must apply the internal assessment criteria specified in the related curriculum document to establish and confirm prior learning. Mcanyi Group and workplaces must confirm prior learning by stating results or by certifying a work experience record.
RPL for access to the qualification: Mcanyi Group and approved workplaces may recognise prior learning against the relevant access requirements.

2. Training Provider recognises the need to develop citizens who can participate effectively in a multi lingual society. We will adhere to any specific requirements specified in the Unit Standards and/or Qualifications we train.

Internal Assessment: A portfolio of evidence will be submitted within two months after the training of each module. Assessment activities include evaluation all documentation produced during the process and questioning to test knowledge and ability to apply. This assessment leads to the entrance into the integrated external summative assessment.
External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA): The external integrated summative assessment conducted through the releveance QCTO Assessment Quality partner is required for the issuing of this qualification. The external integrated summative assessment will focus on the exit level outcomes and associated assessment criteria. The external assessment will be conducted though a theoretical assessment by an assessor registered by Merseta as the AQP at approved assessment centres.
Certification: The QCTO will issue the certificate to successful candidates after completion of the EISA

2. In the event that the course cannot be delivered by Mcanyi Group due to Force Majeure then Mcanyi Group reserves the right to provide the course at another time and date without additional charge to the client.
