Sami Ullah Khan

Sami joined Mcanyi Group as Head Auctioneer (Freelancer) in 2024. He is one of South Africa’s most dynamic and entertaining auctioneers, known for creating excitement, attracting crowds, and selling at fair and satisfying prices.

He is responsible for managing the entire sale process, from pre-auction marketing and valuation to conducting the auction itself and ensuring a fair, transparent sale to the highest bidder. Key duties include advertising the auction, presenting items persuasively, managing bids to set the pace, enforcing fair bidding practices, and ensuring all transactions meet legal and ethical standards. He acts as the seller’s agent, aiming to achieve the best possible price while maintaining a lively and engaging atmosphere for potential buyers.

He holds a Certificate in all aspects of Auctioneering from the Royal Auction Academy and is a registered member in good standing of the South African Institute of Auctioneers (SAIA).

Before joining the Mcanyi Group, He was self-employed from March 2000 until 2024
